Friday events....

On friday after Eric and I were done with work we went out to Sauvie Island to pick out a pumkin for our first Halloween! It was very fun (and very muddy!) We went through corn maze and the first half of the maze was covered in saw dust, but the second half was like a muddy swamp! I brough my rain boots, but Eric just had his flip flops. I was having a grand time in the mud, but he was having a hard time in his shoes. So I took my boots off and convinced Eric to do the same and it was a lot of fun. At the end we found out our feet prints even helped some people get through the maze. Look how distusting my feet were! I will post Eric's later. My computer is running out of battery and I don't have my charger!

Sorry I'm such a slacker...

I feel like I am so behind in this blogging thing... For those of you who still read this, let me catch you up on my life. Two weeks ago I started a NEW job! I work at a Montesori preschool in SW Portland and so far it's been great (even though I have to be at work at 8:15 and traffic is horrible then!) Then starting monday I will resume my tutoring job at Lane Middle school. So basically I have two part time jobs that equal a full time job (unfortunately with no benefits.) I like working again... it's been a long summer and I needed some routine in my life. I absolutley DREAD getting up at 6:30 and I don't think I will ever get used to this schedule change.

Here are some pictures from when I was in Colorado. I got to spend one full day with my neice and I got some good pics of her. The second pic is at my cousins wedding and we were taking pictures of each other. She's so sweet and I wish that I was closer to her, although if I were I think I would spoil her more, but that's what aunts are for, right?

When I was in Colorado I got sick midway though the week. I brought that home and was miserable my first week of work, but I am feeling much better.

Today I am going with some friends to the Portland Art Museum because they are having a free admission day. I haven't been there in a while, so I am looking forward to that. I will try to be better at posting stuff, although my life is about to get pretty busy (aka boring) with my two jobs.
